Congratulations to our Firefighter of the year Awardees!
Volunteering in any situation involves dedication and caring. Volunteering as an unpaid Firefighter in your home town takes a very HIGH level of civic caring, courage, and skill. They work all day at their careers and then while everyone else is enjoying a night or day with the family, friends, or even the joy of sleeping, they are rushing off to help protect our town. It’s stressful, tiring, and at times harrowing, but for those that choose to serve, it’s a passion they wouldn’t think about leaving. A Firefighter of the year is someone that goes even further, above and beyond the standard call of duty. Someone who gives all they have, for the fire company and the town. We are proud to honor the following new members into those hallow ranks!
